You will be bringing the following to your session:
- Client Information and Agreement Form (have it printed, filled out and signed)
- Your questions which will be used to set the intention of the session (typed or neatly written on paper)
- 16 GB USB Flash Drive (must be brand new)
- Your remaining balance
Prepare a short list of issues and questions that Alba will use as a guideline for your hypnosis session. Please do not add extra explanations or history - only questions.
- No more than 10 to 15 issues/questions. Since the session may go far deeper into a certain issue(s) than expected, Alba may not be able to get to all your questions.
- Do not include explanations or details about the questions. You will discuss them with Alba.
- The issues/questions should be about YOU - not about somebody else or world or political issues.
Set your intention to have a great session
Your intention to having a great session is key! Once you've made the decision to have a hypnosis session, your Spirit Guide and Higher Self begins preparing you. Thoughts and energy will automatically begin to flow to you to prepare you for this session.
Caffeine and diet
Limit your use of caffeine for 2-3 days before your session. On the day of your session, if you normally have 2 cups of coffee in the morning, cut it down to one cup; just enough to keep you from getting a caffeine withdrawal headache. The intention is to go into wonderful state of deep relaxation. A clean live diet (fruits and vegetables) is always recommended.
No recreational drugs or alcohol
Don’t drink alcohol the night before and/or the day of your session. A session will not be conducted if the client is under the influence of drugs, alcohol or any other substances that alter their state of awareness. Do not take any pills to relax you. This may jeopardize the success of the session. Take any prescription medications that you normally take.
Practice relaxing prior to the session
Just close your eyes and bring your awareness to your breath and then to any part of your body where there is tension. Breathe into that space until you feel the tension lessen or dissolve. Remain in that space for as long as you can, locating any tension until your entire body is easily and effortlessly relaxed. This practice can be useful on the day of your session, helping you to access a lovely state of relaxation. You can practice with Alba's visualization video below. If you fall asleep, it's ok.
Get a good night's sleep
You need to be alert and be able to follow my instructions. I cannot facilitate a proper session when a person's mind is too tired and exhausted to focus.If you meditate, do so the morning or day of your appointment to help clear your mind. If you don’t meditate, then do something that calms you like taking a nice relaxing walk, petting your pet or listening to some soothing music.
What to eat/drink
Your session could go up to 4 hours so eat something light before you arrive for your session. You may want to pack a snack for after the session too. Don’t forget to drink lots of water! Water is a conductor for energy and that’s what we’ll be doing during your session; channeling and moving energy. Your session will not be affected if you need to empty your bladder during your session.
What to wear
Since you may be lying down for a couple of hours, you should wear comfortable, light, loose-fitting clothes that won't constrict your circulation or over-heat you while you're lying under a blanket. If you typically wear socks to sleep, bring a pair with you so that your feet will feel good. If you wear makeup, keep it light because tears will make eyeliner and mascara flow.
Practice good hygiene
Alba is often confined to the room for many hours and other clients may be sharing the same space after your session. Please have the courtesy to shower, use deodorant and wear clean clothing. Please avoid using scents or perfume. It will linger on the pillow and in the room. If you use oil or you’ve colored your hair before your session, perspiration will stain the pillowcase. Let Alba know before you start the hypnosis session so she can put a towel on the pillow or bring your own.
Your session will consist of two parts; a brief interview process where Alba gets to know you and reviews your questions and the actual hypnosis session. Your session is a private session. It is a place where you and Alba need to feel completely safe and that your confidentiality in all matters is observed. Because of this, no one else is allowed in your session or will not be permitted to stay.
If you are not driving yourself, please make arrangements to have them wait until you contact them after your session in order to pick you up or come to the door. You can also use Uber or Lyft.
If you are booking a session in Miami, Alba owns a cat and no other animals are permitted in her home. If you are booking an out-of-town appointment, the sessions are typically facilitated in hotel rooms or AirBnb homes where animals are not permitted. Each person's experience is totally unique, and you will experience exactly what you need. Release any expectation of what you should feel like when you're in a hypnotic trance or what your session will be like. Just enjoy the experience and let the Universe take care of the details.
Audio and Video Recording
Since you may only remember some of your hypnosis session, it will be recorded via a digital recorder and video recorder and uploaded for you onto a USB flash drive. Please bring a NEW 16 GB USB flash drive with you. (No external hard drives please) You may share your recording at your discretion but do not upload it onto the internet. Alba reserves all rights to the recording.
Sessions on YouTube
Due to the personal nature of the sessions, most of Alba's hypnosis sessions are not published on YouTube. If your session has information that would be beneficial for others to hear, she will ask at the end of your session if you want to share it. Personal information and hypnotherapy techniques are edited out of the recording.
After Your Session:
You will be fully alert but deeply relaxed and may find yourself in a semi to very blissful state. Sometimes, clients feel like their body is buzzing with energy. (Very important!) Be sure to eat something after the session so that it will ground you. (Bring a snack for your ride home). You will need to ground yourself after the session, such as walking in bare feet on the grass. Schedule the rest of your day so that after the session you won't have activities that will require a lot of concentration or physical hard work.
Please do NOT schedule to fly out right after the session. Your session may run late and traffic is heavy in Miami.
When you get home, upload the recording to your computer and listen to your session. It is recommended that a client listen to the material at least three times but please do NOT listen to it while driving your car!
Your connection to your Higher Self will remain open so pay attention to your thoughts, dreams and intuition. You will begin to discern the difference between your Ego and recognize that voiceless voice.
Sometimes it can take some time to process everything that has happened during a session, especially when many meaningful things can happen in such a short period of time. Pay attention because important information may be coming through to you when you least expect it and you don't want to miss it! Since the vibration of your session will also be recorded, you will continue to receive insight and self-healing any time you listen to the recording of your session.
