Preparation for Your (In Person) Hypnosis Session

This information is only for clients who have already booked a session with me.

Send me your Client Information form. It should be received no later than on week after booking your session.  You can go to https://www.pdffiller.com/ to fill out your form and sign it.  Attach the PDF or pictures of your document through the Client Portal.  Access your Client Portal here

Final Payment:  An invoice for the remaining balance will be sent to you the week before your appointment.

Bring a 32 or higher GB USB Flash Drive or SD card (must be brand new) to upload your recording.  Do not upload to social media.   I reserve all rights to the recording.

  • Please do not bring questions to ask your Higher Self.  This is a hypnotherapy session, so focus on what your soul needs to heal during our time together.
  • We will work on issues related to your health, fears, pain, phobias, traumas, or symptoms that are bothering you.  (not about anyone else or future events)
  • Most of my sessions are not published on YouTube so people do not see the entire body of my work. 
  • I do hypnotherapy sessions, not QHHT sessions, so it's not about asking questions to your Higher Self. 

PandoraStar Meditation Session

Set your intention to have a great session

Once you've made the decision to have a hypnosis session, your Spirit Guides and Higher Self begin to prepare you. Thoughts and energy will automatically begin to flow to you to prepare you for this session. 

Be sober  

Please do not take any drugs to relax you.  No alcohol, marijuana, or relaxation pills.  Hypnotherapy is about connecting with your emotions, and this cannot be accomplished if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohols.  Continue to take your prescribed medications from your doctor but be aware that antidepressants may affect the ability to connect with emotions

Practice relaxing prior to the session (not required)

Although you don't need to be relaxed to have a successful hypnosis session, it's normal to get nervous.  Just close your eyes and bring your awareness to your breath and then to any part of your body where you notice tension. Breathe into that space until you feel the tension lessen or dissolve. Remain in that space for as long as you can, locating any tension until your entire body is easily and effortlessly relaxed. Get a good night's sleep

You need to be alert and be able to focus and follow my instructions. Hypnosis is not sleep so I cannot facilitate a proper session when a person's mind is too tired and exhausted to focus. If you meditate, do so the morning or day of your appointment to help clear your mind. If you don’t meditate, then do something that calms you like taking a nice relaxing walk, petting your pet or listening to some soothing music.  

What to eat/drink

Your session can run up to 4 hours, so eat something light before you arrive for your session. You may want to pack a snack to eat on your way home or stop at our local cafe in Micanopy.  Don’t forget to drink lots of water!  Your session will not be affected if you need to empty your bladder once or several times during your session. (Each time you go in and out of hypnosis, you go deeper)

What to wear

Since you may be lying down for a couple of hours, wear clean and comfortable, loose-fitting clothes that won't constrict your circulation or over-heat you. If you typically wear socks to sleep, bring a pair with you so that your feet will feel good.  If you wear makeup, keep it light or waterproof because tears will make eyeliner and mascara flow. 

Practice good hygiene (no perfumes)

Please wear clean clothing and deodorant.  Avoid using strong scents such as scented oils or perfume because I am allergic to some scents and the smell lingers on the bedding and room.  If you use oils or you’ve colored your hair before your session, perspiration will stain the pillowcase.  Let me know before we start the hypnosis session so that I can put a towel on the pillow or you may bring your own. 

Your session:  

Before the hypnosis session, I spend time getting to know you, review your issues, and spend some time discussing what to expect. The actual hypnosis session takes place after the interview. Your session is a private session. It's a place where both you and I need to feel completely safe and that your confidentiality in all matters is observed. Because of this, no one else is allowed in your session or will not be permitted to stay on the property.  If you are not driving yourself to the appointment, please make arrangements to have them wait until you contact them after your session in order to pick you up. Please do not have your driver show up, walk around my property or knock on the door until you contact them.  We may still be in session! 

Pets (allergies)

If you are booking a session in Micanopy, Florida, this is my home and I have a cat.  No other animals are permitted in or outside my home without prior approval and arrangements.  Please contact me if you have questions regarding Service Dogs.

No expectations

Each hypnosis session is totally unique and you will experience exactly what you need. Release any expectation of what you should feel like when you're in a hypnotic trance or what your session will be like.  All hypnosis is self-hypnosis and I am simply the facilitator.  

  • Hypnosis is NOT sleep. You will be wide awake and aware during your whole experience.
  • You are NEVER unconscious. Since hypnosis is NOT SLEEP, it doesn't feel like a dream you wake up from and then forget.
  • It feels more like a daydream and the majority of people know exactly what they're saying at all times and remember mostly everything.
  • Most people think they're making it all up. That's normal because imagination is the key to accessing information from the subconscious and unconscious.  Hypnosis is a normal altered state of focused awareness.  Just enjoy the experience and let your soul guide you.

Audio and Video Recording

Since you may only remember some of your hypnosis session, it will be recorded via a camcorder and the session will be uploaded for you onto a USB flash drive. You are not permitted to record your session with your own device. Please bring a NEW 32 or higher GB USB flash drive or SD card with you. (No external hard drives please)  You may share your recording with family and friends at your discretion but do NOT upload it onto the internet. I reserve all rights to the recording. 

Sessions on YouTube

Due to the personal nature of the sessions, most of my hypnosis sessions are not published on my YouTube and Vimeo channels.  If your session has information that would be beneficial for others to hear, I will ask at the end of your session if you want to share it.  Personal information and proprietary hypnotherapy techniques are edited out of the recording.

After Your Session:  

There's a lot to process after a session.  You will be fully alert but may feel deeply relaxed and may find yourself in a semi to very blissful state. Sometimes, clients feel like their body is buzzing with energy.  Sometimes you may feel like vomiting or taking a long nap. You may feel lost or get upset and think that you were just having a conversation with me and weren't hypnotized at all and made it all up.  That's normal.  Be sure to drink a lot of water and eat something after the session so that it will ground you. 

When you get home, upload the recording to your computer and listen to your session but NOT while driving your car! Since the vibrations of your session will also be recorded, you will continue to receive new insights and self-healing each time you listen to the recording.  

Sometimes it can take quite some time to process everything that has happened during a session, especially since we are working in the Quantum Realm and many meaningful things can happen in such a short period of time. Remember that your soul continues to heal after the session.  Pay attention to synchronicities.
