Hypnosis is a natural state where you remain fully conscious and in control.
It's no more possible to get "stuck" in hypnosis than it is to get stuck in a daydream. In fact, most people don’t realize they enter self-hypnotic states throughout the day—while driving, reading, watching TV, working on a computer, or simply daydreaming. These are all forms of trance, marked by focused attention and a shift in awareness.
During a hypnosis session, you’ll still be able to hear everything around you, but outside sounds won’t disturb you—much like how we tune out background noises like office chatter, the hum of crickets, or airplanes overhead. They fade into the background as your attention turns inward.
Every person’s experience with hypnosis is different, and each session unfolds in its own unique way.
That’s a very common question — and the answer is no, you won’t lose control.
Hypnosis isn’t like what you may have seen in movies or on stage. It’s not mind control, and it’s not about making you do or say anything you don’t want to. In fact, you stay fully aware during the session. You can talk, ask questions, even decide to stop the session at any time if you choose.
Being in hypnosis just means you’re deeply focused — like when you’re lost in thought or daydreaming. In that relaxed state, it becomes easier to access memories, feelings, or insights that are usually just beneath the surface.
You will never act against your values or best interests during a hypnosis session. However, true healing—especially at the soul level—requires connecting with your emotions. When the soul becomes trapped in an unresolved experience, whether from this life or a past one, it often needs to revisit and express that experience in order to release it and find freedom.
But you are always in control. You won’t say anything you don’t want to share. You won’t do anything you don’t want to do. And you can remember what happened during the session afterward.
My role is simply to guide you — gently and respectfully — through the process, with your full participation. It’s a safe and empowering experience designed to help you get the answers, clarity, or healing you’re looking for.
That’s why it’s important that you feel safe enough to express yourself openly and without holding back. You’ll have time during our interview to get to know me, ask any questions or share concerns. Building a strong foundation of trust and mutual respect is essential to the hypnotherapy process.
Hypnosis is not something dark or “of the devil,” but actually a gentle, God-centered tool for healing.
Hypnosis is simply a state of deep focus and relaxation — much like when you’re praying quietly, meditating, or lost in thought while listening to music. In this state, the mind becomes more receptive to hearing from the deeper parts of the soul — where healing, peace, and clarity live.
In sessions like the ones I do, people connect with their inner guidance — which I believe is how the Holy Spirit or Higher Self speaks to us. There are no occult practices nor loss of control. In fact, many people leave sessions feeling closer to God, having released burdens they’ve carried for years.
For many, hypnosis is a way of being still, listening deeply, and allowing Divine guidance toward peace, and healing.
Many people have misconceptions about what hypnosis feels like, and unrealistic expectations can unintentionally interfere with the process. Hypnosis is not sleep. During a session, you remain fully conscious and aware of your surroundings. Outside forces will not be controlling your mouth. You will be moving your mouth and using your voice to respond to all of my questions. If you didn’t feel "hypnotized," it may be because you were expecting to feel asleep, or like in a dream state, or unaware—something often misunderstood if not clearly explained beforehand.
Mutual trust and respect between the client and the hypnotherapist are essential. Feeling safe is what allows you to relax, let go, and connect deeply.
Most people are fully aware of what’s happening during their session and remember all or most of it. It’s also common to wonder if you're just making it all up because it just feels like a daydream—this is part of how the conscious mind processes the experience. Some may even feel as though they were asleep or unaware of what was said, but rest assured, your Higher Self, soul, or divine guidance continues to communicate throughout.
Your session will be recorded and shared with you, so you can revisit it at your own pace. The healing process often continues to unfold days, weeks, and even months afterward.
The Higher Self is often described as the eternal, wise, and all-knowing part of you—the aspect of your consciousness that exists beyond the ego, beyond the mind, and even beyond the current lifetime. It’s the bridge between your human experience and your divine, soul-level awareness.
It is:
- The part of you that holds deep wisdom, unconditional love, and spiritual guidance.
- Not influenced by fear, doubt, or the limitations of everyday thinking.
- Always present, observing your life from a broader perspective.
- Often accessed during moments of deep intuition, spiritual insight, or hypnosis.
In hypnotherapy, especially spiritual or introspective approaches, the Higher Self may communicate through words, images, sensations, or knowing. Its goal is to help you grow, heal, and align with your soul’s purpose
You are not permitted to record your own session. Your session (not induction) will be recorded. If this is an online session, the Zoom recording will be sent to you after your session via WeTransfer.com. If the session is in person, it will be uploaded onto a new 32 or higher GB USB flash drive or SD card that you bring with you, or the files can be sent to you electronically. Alba Weinman retains the rights to the recording, and they should not be uploaded or shared on social media.
No, it doesn’t matter if you believe in past lives.
During a hypnosis session, your subconscious mind will present information in the way that’s most meaningful and helpful to you. For some, that may come through as symbolic stories, vivid memories, or what seem like past life experiences. For others, it may feel more like imagination, metaphor, or emotional impressions from this life.
The key is to approach the session with an open mind, rather than fixed beliefs.
Even if you see the experience as symbolic rather than literal, it can still bring deep emotional insight, healing, and clarity. The subconscious uses images and narratives—real or imagined—to help you process unresolved emotions and shift your perspective.
So belief in past lives isn’t necessary. What matters most is your willingness to explore, feel, and allow the healing to unfold in the way that’s right for you.
If you've already scheduled an appointment, I sent you an email with all the information to prepare for the session and the documentation that is required. Below are the links to the preparations page. Now just set an intention on what your soul needs to heal during the session.

Hypnotherapy is a deeply personal and private experience. For the process to be effective, it’s essential that you feel completely safe, that you trust me, and that you’re able to express yourself freely—without the presence or influence of others.
If your session is online, no one may be in the room with you or listening in through any device. If you’re attending an in-person session, please note that no one is permitted on the property during your appointment. A friend is welcome to drop you off and return to pick you up once your session has ended.
Your privacy and comfort are vital to your healing journey.
Self-hypnosis can help you relax or focus, but it usually can’t take you as deep as working with a skilled hypnotist — and here’s why.
Your conscious mind is what you use to think about what’s happening right now. It’s logical, analytical, and in control of what you focus on.
Your subconscious mind is much bigger and more powerful. It stores your memories, beliefs, habits, and runs everything your body does automatically — breathing, digesting food, pumping blood — without you even thinking about it. It processes millions of pieces of information every second, and it responds best to images, symbols, and carefully chosen suggestions.
When you try to hypnotize yourself, your conscious mind is still in charge, acting like a gatekeeper. It can interrupt, analyze, or block what you’re trying to do. A skilled hypnotist knows how to guide you past that gatekeeper so your conscious mind steps aside, letting the subconscious fully engage.
Think of your mind like a computer:
The conscious mind is the screen, mouse, and keyboard — what you can directly control.
The subconscious mind is everything behind the scenes — the hard drive, the CPU, all the background programs that make it work.
In hypnosis, the hypnotist speaks the language of your subconscious, helping you uncover insights, heal emotional wounds, and make changes that are hard to reach on your own. Without that guidance, self-hypnosis often stays on the surface.
The Interview
In a QHHT (Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique) session, practitioners are trained to spend several hours speaking with the client before hypnosis begins. This time is used to explore the client’s personal and family history, identify key people in their life, and review the list of questions the client would like answered by the "Subconscious" (also known as the Higher Self) during the session.
In her own sessions, Alba Weinman typically spends approximately 60 - 90 minutes gathering information about the client’s background, life challenges, and emotional or physical symptoms. This interview helps set the tone, intention, and direction for the hypnosis session. During this time, Alba also provides coaching and education—explaining what hypnosis is, what to expect, and how to allow the process to unfold.
The Hypnosis Session
A traditional QHHT session follows a structured format developed by Dolores Cannon, including a scripted induction, a guided exploration of 3 past lives, and a direct connection to the client’s Higher Self to answer their prepared questions and requests for healing. The session concludes with a scripted method for bringing the client out of hypnosis.
QHHT is focused solely on past life exploration and communication with the Higher Self. The method requires strict adherence to Dolores Cannon’s protocol, meaning practitioners:
Do not use other hypnosis or healing techniques
Do not address spirits or attached entities
May not conduct sessions online
May not touch the client
Are not permitted to perform therapy unless they are also certified hypnotherapists
If a client is unable to go into trance, QHHT allows for a surrogate to be used—someone who is able to connect to the original client’s Higher Self and receive information on their behalf.
A typical QHHT session can last 6 hours or more, with the majority of the time devoted to the interview and the journey through past lives.
Alba Weinman is a certified Clinical and Transpersonal Hypnotherapist, uniquely trained in TVP (Terapia de Vidas Pasadas or Past Life Therapy)—a method that incorporates techniques not taught in QHHT or in most traditional hypnotherapy programs.
Because not everyone is highly visual or able to follow a scripted journey (as used in QHHT), Alba draws from a wide range of techniques to induce hypnosis, including verbal and non-verbal inductions. Her sessions are unscripted and intuitive, tailored to the needs of each client. A past life may or may not arise—what emerges depends on the individual’s issues and the guidance of their soul.
In her in-person sessions, Alba may also incorporate the vibrational energy of tuning forks, the use of her hands and personal magnetic energy, and her guiding voice to help release blocked emotions and bring the client into a deeper state of awareness.
Her sessions often include working with lost souls, thought forms, energetic blockages, and unresolved issues involving spirits, family members, or friends. These are gently addressed and released using therapeutic methods that go beyond regression, focusing on emotional and energetic healing.
The aim of Alba’s hypnotherapy work is to uncover the root causes of symptoms, traumas, and phobias, even if these elements are rarely shown in public videos. Her sessions are deeply spiritual and may involve calling upon Archangels, Ascended Masters, Prophets, Gurus, or God (Source/Creator)—depending on the client’s belief system—to support healing and empowerment.
The core intention of Alba’s work is to heal the soul through forgiveness, love, and liberation. Her sessions typically last 2 1/2 to 4 hours, depending on the depth and needs of the client.
